Spring Foods List

With spring almost here, it might finally feel like things are starting to defrost and brighten up outside. This means that you can finally get out and garden and enjoy the outdoors with your little ones. All of that activity means that your family needs to keep a healthy diet. Here are some fruits and vegetables that are finally back in season this spring:

Fruits

  • Blueberries and strawberries
  • Cherries
  • Avocados
  • Pineapple
  • Apricots
  • Grapefruit

Smoothies are a great healthy snack option if you are trying to incorporate more of these fruits into your everyday diet.

Vegetables:

  • Artichokes
  • Carrots
  • Spinach and butter lettuce
  • Peas and snow peas
  • Mustard and collard greens
  • Turnips

These vegetables would be great in a big salad or you can sneak some into your smoothies. You could also sauté vegetables and pair them with a protein for a nutritious meal.
