Extending the Shelf-life of Bananas
Tired of buying bananas only to watch them go bad before you even get a chance to eat one? Try this trick to extend the life of you bananas. Take your bananas apart right when you get home from the store. Leaving them connected at the stem will cause them to ripen faster. Another tip is to keep bananas from getting too hot or humid. When there is too much moisture, the ethylene gases increases, ripening the bananas even faster.
