Cords can be Dangerous
An improperly stored or ignored cord can be a safety hazard to your family. Be sure to check cords regularly for frays, cracks or kinks. They should not be used as jump ropes, clothes lines, or anything other than their intended purpose. Ensure that all cords are firmly plugged into outlets. If the cord is loose and can pull out easily, choose a different, more snug outlet. Lastly, do not modify a cord’s plug at any time. Do not clip off the third prong or file down a wider prong to fit it into a different outlet.
