Sea Glass
Sea glass is smooth, frosted glass that has been worn down by water and sand. It’s found on beaches along oceans, bays, rivers, gullies or large lakes. Many people comb beaches in search of sea glass for decoration or jewelry. There’s even The North American Sea Glass Association (NASGA), which is a community of informed collectors and sellers of sea glass that are educated on the characteristics and significance of genuine sea glass. There’s even an Annual North American Sea Glass Festival! Check www.seaglassassociation.org for more information.
