Help is Just a Phone Call Away

Did you know you can call on Mr. Electric for more than just basic repairs? "Typically, only 30 to 40 percent of our business is emergency repairs," notes Darin Bess, a Mr. Electric owner in western Colorado. So, what else can a Mr. Electric professional do for you? Bess lists the areas they can help you with that you might not have considered:

Saving energy: Mr. Electric's technicians can replace your incandescent lighting with fluorescents and add dimmers and multiple switching to your lighting in order to cut down on electric bills. Of course, adding ceiling fans is another energy saver.

Safety: Call them to install hardwired smoke detectors and surge protectors. And have them perform a whole-house safety inspection. Outside, things like stair lighting and motion sensor floodlights afford even more protection.

Remodeling: A big part of Mr. Electric's operations is helping customers upgrade their home's dated wiring and other electrical systems, as well as adding improvements like recessed shower cans and under-cabinet lighting that not only beautify the space but also add to the home's resale value.

Entertainment: Thinking about putting in a hot tub or buying one of those fancy new outdoor TVs for your patio? Want to add speakers outside? Dial up Mr. Electric to take care of the wiring.

Landscaping: Sorry, they won't cut the grass or trim the hedges, but they can set up a decorative lighting system that will really make your yard come alive.
